Visit to the craft brewery "La Minera", tasting and sampling of local products

“La Minera” nace de la pasión por nuestra tierra y en especial por el pasado industrial del Ripollès. Conceptos entrelazados para dibujar un pasado en blanco y negro, de hierro y vapor, del que somos herederos. El pasado minero del Ripollès se remonta hasta la época romana y gira entorno de las minas de Rocabruna (Camprodon), de Ventolà y Queralbs (Ribes de Freser), de las rocas bituminosas de Perella (Sant Joan de les Abadesses) y principalmente entorno de la Cuenca carbonífera de Ogassa.Es precisamente en Ogassa dónde ha nacido la MINERA, madurando en las entrañas de la Serra Cavallera, en el interior de la Mina Juncadella. Las minas de Ogassa vivieron su esplendor en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX y fueron el impulso necesario para la construcción de la línea de ferrocarril entre Barcelona y Sant Joan. this experience is a guided visit to the facilities of Cal Gat, where you can learn about all the details of the brewing process, from raw materials to maturation in the bottle. The duration of the activity is approximately 1 hour and includes a tasting of the different varieties of Minera, accompanied by other local artisan products.
